Content Description
The collection consists of photographs taken by Mandus Fristad during his service for the CCC from 1939-1940. There are 58 images in the collection on three scrapbook sheets. Images include: individual shots of men and in groups, bunks houses, barracks, Mt. Rushmore, work trucks, cranes, bulldozers, and other earthmoving equipment, internal and external views of buildings, landscapes and scenery, and animals. Other photocopies were also donated including: Menu and roster from Thanksgiving 1939, Honorable Discharge papers from the CCC for Mandus B. Fristad, and a record of service sheet for Mandus Fristad.
