The collection consists of one 1898, Rand McNally pocket map of the state of South Dakota. The map includes the railroad system in South Dakota in 1898 and all cities, towns, counties, post offices, creeks, rivers, reservations, railroad stations, and other geographical features. The map also includes a census of each towns and counties along with the square miles of each county. The map also lists all the railroads in South Dakota and shows which lines belonged to which companies. The map size is 14” x 20 ¾”. The pocket book is 4”x 6 ½”.
