The collection consists of one photograph, an enlarged reproduction photo, and one negative of Badger Clark taken in July 1934. According to the donor, the photo, taken by Cora Edwards of Winner (S.D.), of Badger Clark was taken in the Black Hills at the Pactola Institute. In 1929, the Methodist Church leased a campground near Pactola (S.D.) in the Black Hills near Rapid Creek creating the “Pactola Methodist Assembly Park.” The Pactola Institute hosted campers to come and hear inspirational speakers. Badger Clark must have been one of those speakers in July 1934 when Cora Edwards attended the institute.
