Content Description

The collection contains one audio CD (12:20 playing time) of an interview with Albert E Kosboth detailing some of his experiences while serving in the miltiary during World War II. These experiences include basic training at Fort Leavenworth, KS, Fort McClellan, Alabama, Fort Meade, Maryland, disembarking from New Jersey to England, Metz, France; Mussel River; Black Forest; wounded by artillery in left foot, work at a post office to the conclusion of the war, returning home with a Purple Heart and Bronze Star. There is also a photo enclosed of Albert, his enlistment record, and a program from his funeral service. Albert died October 16, 2003.
