Content Description
The collection consists of one photo album of thirty six photographs of projects undertaken by the NYA (National Youth Administration) in towns throughout South Dakota including: Presho, Quinn, Hot Springs, Rosebud Indian Reservation, Pine Ridge Indian Reservation, Chamberlain, Hill City, Winner, & St. Francis Mission. Some of the construction performed includes walking bridges, sidewalks, tennis courts, swimming pools, fire halls, rammed earth buildings, residential homes, and park construction. The images were scanned, burned to a CD, and placed with the collection.
