The collection consists of scans from sixty nine color slides of various places in South Dakota dating from the late 1950s to early 1960s including: Oahe Dam Construction, Fort Randall Church, Ft. Randall Dam, Gavins Point Dam, Mt. Rushmore, and Black Hills tourist destinations such as Harney Peak, Needles Drive, and Pigtail Bridges. Included in the scans is the Western Contracting Corporation over sized dump truck used at the Oahe Dam.
