Content Description
The collection consists of 110 glass plate negatives. The collection includes a large number of portrait images taken in a photo studio. They are all unidentified. Topics include infants, toddlers, and young children, boys and girls, as well as older adults. There are also images of what appear to be wedding parties and a soldier circa World War One. The images were found in the State Archives vault. The images were donated in May of 1975 and according to the negative folders, images were reproduced in June 1977. No additional provenance or correspondence is associated with the collection. The plates were scanned added to the South Dakota Digital Archives in October 2012. 2012-10-05-301 to 2012-10-12-304
