The collection consists of numerous materials donated from the Dakota Sunset Museum in Gettysburg, SD. Accessioned materials include: 1 postcard of the Black Hills, 1910 – 1 photo of 5 men in Lead, SD 1904 – 1 photo titled, Homestake Mining Co. Pattern Shop, 1908 – 11 postcards relating to Laura Ingalls Wilder and Desmet, SD – One booklet titled, “The Documents of the Freedom Train,” printed by the American Heritage Foundation – A menu from the 1914 Christmas Dinner at the Locke Hotel in Pierre, SD – one booklet titled, “The Black Hills of South Dakota, 1926,” a tourism brochure. One booklet titled, “Harvey Dunn: illustrator, war artist, and painter of the prairies,” was added to the Harvey Dunn Biographical Collection. Another booklet titled, “The Memorial Arch at Ipswich, SD,” was placed in the Vertical File collection under Ipswich.
