Content Description

The collection consists of eight black and white photographs of various snapshot images of the Black Hills, specifically the Needles Highway and Buffalo at Custer State Park. The images are dated to the 1920s. The photographs show scenes on the Needles Highway taken from an automobile. The photos measure 2 ¾” x 4 ½”. The images, at one time, were in a scrapbook but were removed. The photos were transferred from the Kansas Historical Society who received the images from an anonymous donor.
