The 1911-1912 yearbook includes images of faculty, students, and various sports and activities as well as listing the students and teachers in both high school and grade school. “Hanson County Thistle,” dated March 1951 includes a large number of poems and stories submitted by grade school students form different school districts in Hanson County. The entries have various themes and include the name, grade, and school district for each student. There are eight issues of the Emery Enterprise that the archives does not have on microfilm. Those newspapers will be sent to the Springfield Microfilm Unit for microfilming. Emery Enterprise issues relating to Emery’s and the newspaper’s history were added to the Emery (S.D.) vertical file.
