 Unprocessed — Container: Vault: F6B-D5
Identifier: H2013-019

Content Description

The collection consists of eleven glass plates donated by Helen Wrede of Rapid City (S.D.). It is not known when the plates were donated. The plates were found in the vault and scanned as part of the digitization project. Some of the plates are severely damaged. The majority of images in this collection are of Native Americans in native dress. There are also images of teepees, a horse coral and Native American agency buildings, and individuals near, what appears to be, an unidentified train depot. One of the plates is a lithograph image of Yankton in 1875. The plate is broken and the image can be found in other archives collections.
