The collection consists of one CD of an oral history interview, from 1980, of Dwight McClaskey. McClaskey came to New Underwood (S.D.) in 1935. The interview, approximately 35 minutes, includes his recollection of the town when he arrived and the years proceeding. The interview includes names of individuals and various businesses owners recalled by Wright. The interview offers a detailed description of life in western South Dakota in the late 1930s. He described New Underwood as "a nice western town." The audio files are 34 MB in size and are saved on the N: drive as .mp3 files.
