Content Description

The collection consists of five postcards and twelve (3” x 4 ½”) photographs of various South Dakota images, mainly of the Badlands. The twelve photographs are specifically Badlands images showing various geographical features, gravel roads, and automobiles dated to the 1920s. The images appear are professionally taken and presumably purchased at some point in time. The five postcards are of Sylvan Lake (aerial view), Iron Mountain Road—Spiral Bridge, Chamberlain (S.D.), Cedar Pass in Badlands, rock formation Crystal Cave. The donation was an anonymous mailing.
