The collection consists of one 16mm color film reel of a six-man, high school football game between the Claremont (Honkers) and Hecla (Rockets), 1950. In the film, Claremont wears the white jerseys and Hecla is in the dark jerseys. The game was played at Hecla on Saturday, November 11, 1950 (Armistice Day). Claremont won the game by a score of 73-19 becoming the Lake Region Conference Champions for the 1950 football season. Coach Bill Welsh started a six-man football team in Claremont in 1947. He would go on to win a national record setting, sixty-one consecutive high school football games.
