The collection consists of five postcards from an anonymous donor. Included are two postcards of the March 1916 flood near Vermillion (S.D.). The postcards show the flooded rail lines and roads near Vermillion. The third postcard shows the “Open Cut” and a drawing of the underground mine shafts for the Homestake Mine (Lead, S.D.). The final two postcards are images of buffalo and antelope at the Wind Cave National Park near Hot Springs (S.D.). A number of yearbooks were also donated at this time.
