SD Postcard Collection
Content Description
This collection consists of six postcards and two photographs. Towns in the collection include Wessington, Emery, Yankton and Miller. The postcards were adhered to an album and then removed. Pieces of the album remain adhered to the postcard making certain parts illegible. Two snapshots of the Fort Randall dam, 1950, were added to the general photograph collection. The postcards were originally sent to the Hughes County Court House from South Sioux City, IA. The staff at the court house forwarded the postcards to the State Archives. The envelope had no return address or letter of introduction.
