The collection consists of three black and white photographs taken in Mt. Moriah Cemetery (Deadwood, S.D.) at the graves of Wild Bill Hickok and Calamity Jane. Two of the images show the grave marker and statue at James “Wild Bill” Hickok’s grave. A third image shows the grave marker of Calamity Jane. The donor’s family would visit the Black Hills during the summer. The images date to the late 1930s.
