The collection consists of one souvenir postcard booklet of color-tinted postcards of Sioux Falls (S.D.). The booklet includes fifteen postcard images of Sioux Falls with an additional two images of Sioux Falls on the cover and back of the booklet. Other, non-Sioux Falls images include Mt. Rushmore, the Badlands and a general “South Dakota” postcard. In addition, on the inside cover of the booklet there is a write-up on Sioux Falls, with various topics such as transportation, industry and manufacturing, amusements, education, hospitals, churches, etc. The Sioux Falls images found in the booklet include Sherman Park, Cactus Garden in McKennan Park, Oriental Garden in Terrace Park, the State Penitentiary, Philips Avenue, Terrace Park, aerial view, Sioux River view, Sunken Garden in Nelson Park, Drake Springs Swimming Pool, Miniature Mountain Scene at McKennan Park, a Greetings from Sioux Falls image, Washington High School, Sunken Garden at McKennan Park, and City Hall. The front cover features an image of the National Bank of South Dakota Building and the back features a photo of “The Falls.” The donation also had a random postcard of Mount Rushmore showing a “before and after” scene of the mountain.
