Content Description
This collection consists of one 6 ½ x 8 black and white photograph. The photograph is of a group of men gathered outside the front of the Morgan and Wells Tire Sales and Service and Vulcanizing Shop in Mitchell, 1922. The store was located on Lawler Street in Mitchell, South Dakota. Pictured in the photo are from right to left: Hazen W. Wells, James Stevens, R.L. Terry, Ed Morgan, Bill Barnett and Henry Fenzlein. Hazen was the owner of the store and the husband of the donor. A loose piece of the left side of the photograph was taped to the rest of the photograph before receipt at the Archives. Writing on the reverse of the photograph indicates the name of the store and the names of the men in the group.
