This collection consists of photographs and newspaper articles all relating to Wesley A. Simmons. Simmons graduated from Harrisburg High School, attended Dakota Wesleyan University, and coached at several schools, including Farmer (S.D.) and Freeman (S.D.) before becoming a Superintendent at Castlewood (S.D.), Wessington (S.D.) Scotland (S.D.) and Sisseton (S.D.). The collection also contains a Sisseton High School yearbook, "Les Coteaux," from 1922. Also donated is a graduation announcement for Wesley Simmons from Harrisburg High School, 1924. A list of the images is provided.

The Scotland High School building was consumed by fire in February 1948.
