This collection consists of seven maps. Five of the maps are road maps that were produced by oil or gas companies that include the entire state of South Dakota. The other two maps are land sale promotional maps for parts of Meade and Pennington counties from 1906 and Hughes, Hyde, Sully, Potter and Faulk counties from 1906. The map is of the state of South Dakota, but parts of Meade and Pennington Counties are highlighted. The map is by E. Frank Peterson of Lake Andes and the Searle brothers in Aberdeen printed it. The map measures 11 x15; it is white with red, black and yellow ink. It is in very poor condition. #3259 Hughes, Hyde, Sully and parts of Potter and Faulk Counties, 1906. This is a land sale promotional map by E. Frank Peterson of Lake Andes. State Publishing in Pierre printed it. The map measures 18 x 24; and it is white with red and black ink.
