General Federation of Women's Clubs--Hecla (S.D.) Club
Content Description
This collection consists of typed or handwritten histories of the members of the Hecla General Federation of Women’s Clubs. Most of the members were lived near Hecla all their lives. These histories were not included with the Pioneer Daughters collection because the earliest date of birth of the members was 1910. In order to be included with the Pioneer Daughters, the women need to have lived in South Dakota on or before 1889. This is an accretion to other GFWC collections: H92-092, H93-043, H97-056, H98-017, H98-073, H99-019, H2000-031, and H2000-52.
