This collection consists of two cassette tapes. Lester Murray was born in White Rock, South Dakota in 1908. On these tapes he talks about his life and he describes the town of White Rock as he remembers it. Murray also talks about the Jacob Hess family. The donor has included a list of names that Lester Murray mentions on his tape. The first recording was made in March 1975. In June 2001 the tapes were recopied and the donor added a postscript.
