The collection consists of one photograph and one postcard. The photograph is of the State Game Lodge at Custer State Park, ca. 1920s. A small number of automobiles are seen in the photograph. The image is marked as being taken by Rise Studio in Rapid City. The postcard is of a man and his dog standing in front of a wood and tarpaper homestead shack. The front of the card reads, “Cottonwood, S.D. 9/15/1907, Sport and I, Ralph.” The town of Cottonwood is located in northern Jackson County in western South Dakota. The postcard was addressed to a Miss Alma Crisman of Jamison (NE).
