Content Description

The collection consists of seven photographs of various town scenes in south central South Dakota including the towns of Gregory, Fairfax, Colome and Bonesteel. Also included are various businesses such as hotels, restaurants, land locators, furniture and auto mechanic stores, banks, lumber stores as well as threshing and homestead scenes and telephone switchboard operators.
