Content Description
The collection consists of various photographs relating to the town of Andover (S.D.) ,Day County, dating to 1913, October 1921, 1930s and 1990s. The image from 1913 is a composite photograph of the Andover (S.D.) graduating class of 1913. There are seven photographs, five men and two women, none of the images are identified. The Groton Photos Studio (Groton, S.D.) took the images. Also included are four images showing the aftermath of a fire, taken on October 28, 1921, showing a number of decimated and charred buildings. There is also a photo of the Andover school from the 1930s and two images of the Waldorf Hotel in Andover, taken in the 1990s.
