Another writeup is titled, “The Spring Creek Story,” written in 1983. The writeup includes stories submitted by teachers, students and families who attended the Spring Creek School (Zeona, S.D.) in southwestern Perkins County. Another item is a news clipping featuring a Sturgis Tribune article from May 23, 1979 on a woman named Gunda Bekken who immigrated from Norway to South Dakota in the 1910s.
