Content Description

The collection consists of seven postcards of various locations in South Dakota. The postcard images include a wagon and railroad bridge at Huron (S.D.), the home of Dr. A.S. Ortman of the Ortman Clinic (Canistota, S.D.), a bridge at Egan (S.D.) over the Big Sioux River, a “Greetings from Sioux Falls” postcard, a reprint image of main street in Sturgis (S.D.) from 1886, Hangman’s Hill in Rapid City (S.D.) and a color tinted image of Castle Rock on Cedar Pass in the Badlands. Postcards not needed were returned to the donor.
