The collection consists of one photograph and one booklet. The photograph measures 5 ½ x 9 ½ and was taken by the Miller Photo Studio in Pierre featuring the cast of the play “The Womanless Wedding” which ran in Pierre on April 21 and 22, 1927. The large ensemble includes all men with roughly have in the group dressed as women. One individual is in black face. The second item is a song booklet titled, “The Community Song-Fest” presented by the Letcher Civic Study Club of Letcher (S.D.). The booklet includes 80 individual song lyrics with topics such as Stunt Songs, Southern Songs, World War II, World War I, Old Favorites, Lullaby’s, Patriotic and Christmas Carols. It is assumed that the songbook dates to the 1950s. A duplicate copy of the song book was added to the Letcher (S.D.) vertical file. Two pamphlets on the South Dakota Federation of Women’s Clubs were added to the Women’s Clubs vertical file.
