Content Description
The collection consists of a small collection of items concerning the South Dakota Federation of Business and Profession Woman. Of particular note, are four handbooks from the Canton (S.D.) club which include member lists, officers, committees and activities. The handbooks date to the late 1950s and early 1960s. There is also a news clipping noting the 40th annual state convention held in Brookings in 1960. Finally, there are two issues of The South Dakota Business Woman dating to May 1958 and April 1960. The issues include club information and activities as well as featuring a number of South Dakota business advertisements. The April 1960 publication corresponds with the 40th annual convention of the South Dakota Business and Professional Women. The collection is an accretion to other Business and Professional Women collections H2017-085, H2017-077, H2009-077, H2008-019, H2002-004, H2001-001, H2000-084, H99-150, H97-037 and H79-012.
