The collection consists of numerous photographs transferred to the State Archives from the South Dakota Hall of Fame (Chamberlain, S.D.). The majority of photos are cabinet cards of individuals, families and scenes from the Stanley County and Fort Pierre (S.D.) area ca. 1890s-1920s. Some of the photos in the collection were used in the South Dakota Hall of Fame publication, “Dakota West.” A folder list is provided below.
