The collection consists of 3 scrapbooks, newsletters, photographs, news clippings, certificates, and a membership roster for the Sons of Norway, Hovedstad Lodge in Pierre, SD. The Hovedstad Lodge #1-597 was organized in October 6, 1984. The three scrapbooks date from: 1984-1994, 1994-2000, & 2001-2005. The scrapbooks include lodge member photographs, lodge news clippings, and other lodge publication materials. Also included is a membership roster which lists members from 1985 to 2004. There is also a publication entitled, “A History of District 1, Sons of Norway, Centennial Edition, 1895-1995.”
