Content Description

The collection consists of 9 spiral bound scrapbooks of news clippings, photos, and reminiscence of Keith Paisley. Paisley served for 20 years in the South Dakota legislature as a Republican from Minnehaha County. Each binder represents two to three years of legislative service. The scrapbooks offer insight into the legislative process in general and offer a behind-the-scenes look into several diverse legislative topics. The spine of each scrapbook lists the years covered along with particular high points of the legislative session. An index was created for the binders and is found in the last scrapbook. The scrapbook pages are numbered by year and successive page.
