Scope and Contents
This series contains the original applications for marriage filed with the Lincoln County Register of Deeds, as well as recorded certificates of marriage. The records were microfilmed by the Microfilm Unit in Springfield, SD in 2009. The original paper records for 1887-1944 were returned to the Archives for storage; the rest were destroyed.
