Scope and Contents
This series contains grant materials and water project records from the Dept. of Water and Natural Resources. The majority of records were created between 1972 and 1981 but one file regarding Lake Traverse, Bois de Sioux contains records from as early as 1921 through 1971 and some state and local projects which began after World War II contain records from the 1950s and 1960s. Some records appear to have been created by the State Engineer before being sent to the Dept. of Water & Natural Resources. Records have been arranged according to type of project, see box list for more information.
