Scope and Contents
This collection consists of 2 VHS tapes containing recorded material from the First Annual Native Americans Day Program. This program, filmed at Crazy Horse Mountain in October 1990, has been edited to include speeches by and interviews with George S. Mickelson and other prominent South Dakotans. Musical performances by artists such as Kevin Locke, artwork by area talents, and oral history presentations are featured. The program is hosted by Gary Garrison, Todd Epp of South Dakota Public Television, and Leola One Feather.
Each tape is approximately 2 hours long, with a total of 4 hours of information and presentations.
