1979 County School Census Reports, 1979 - 1979
Scope and Contents
This series contains the school census reports for all counties within South Dakota for 1979. These census reports for the most part contain only student names and ages but information such as addresses, mental health and physical conditions are noted in some cases and for this reason records are restricted. Reports have been arranged alphabetically by district name rather than by county with the exception of Rapid City District census reports which have been placed at the end of box 273 due to the physical size of the reports. See box list for more information.

Restrictions
Access to school census reports is partially restricted pursuant to SDCL 1-27-1.5(1) and FERPA. Individuals with appropriate identification can view their own records. All records may be opened to researchers with the written permission of the Department of Education.
