Scope and Contents
This series contains school records from Fall River County Schools including common, independent, and parochial and private schools throughout the county. The records consist of census, yearly grades of the students, financial reports of the school districts, personnel records of the teachers and some students, and some inventory records for each school district. The records cover the years 1886 to 1984.

Records containing student grades are restricted from public access pursuant to SDCL 1-27-1.5 and the Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA).
