Scope and Contents

This series contains the records and correspondence of the State Board of Finance for the years 1955-1990 and includes regular and special meeting minutes, agendas, and notes; resolutions (most of which concern the purchase and deposit of U.S. Treasury Bonds); state treasurer reports; audit reports for state agencies; correspondence; requests; declarative rulings; rules amendment hearing records; household moving allowance application, authorization, and approval forms; floor plans for an addition to the Governor’s mansion including estimate of construction costs; photographs and planning documents for the proposed Governor’s Grove site on the grounds of the Capitol Complex; event plans for the 1989 state centennial celebration; and subject files concerning such matters as dual compensation, payroll deductions, travel expense reimbursements, and job descriptions for state employees. Those folders labeled “minutes” and those which only include a date on the label (also understood to be “minutes”) may include a variety of records in addition to meeting minutes (including, but not limited to, agendas, correspondence, and resolutions) that pertain to business addressed at that particular meeting.
