Scope and Contents
This series contains a copy of the 1929 Silk Report on conditions at the Canton Indian Asylum, as well as related correspondence, memoranda, telegrams, and newspaper clippings. Most of the related materials deal with the repercussions of the report, including the eventual transfer of all patients to St. Elizabeth’s Hospital in Washington, DC.
