Scope and Contents This series contains the school census reports for all districts in Jerauld County between 1910 and 1974. As these are the reports sent to the Department of School and Public land many of the reports only contain the student’s name, age and parent’s name but there a number of reports that includes notes on mental and physical handicaps and as such are restricted. Census reports are arranged alphabetically by name of district. See box list for more information.

Scope and Contents This series consists of photographs (digital, prints, and negatives), sketches, plans, and other documentation submitted to the State Historic Preservation Office (SHPO) to mitigate adverse effects to five historic bridges and structures. These structures include: a Minnehaha County bridge, the Fairfax water tower, a stone culvert on the BNSF railroad near Garretson, the Jerry Bennett farm barn, and the Elwood C. Lyle wind-powered mill.
