Scope and Contents This accession contains administrative subject files maintained by the Office of the Secretary of the Department of Education and Cultural Affairs between 1976 and 1983. Records pertain to cultural development, historic preservation, and education in South Dakota and include memoranda and correspondence, budget reports, meeting minutes, research studies, division annual reports, pamphlets and brochures, and planning documents.

Scope and Contents From the Record Group: This record group contains records created and maintained by the South Dakota Department of Education and Cultural Affairs and includes meeting minutes, photographs, publications, correspondence, audio recordings of speeches and presentations, videotape recordings, grant files, school building specifications, budgets and other financial reports, architectural drawings of historic buildings, administrative subject files, posters, and annual reports.

Scope and Contents This series contains the files for cases heard by the Dakota Territory Supreme Court, as well as miscellaneous documents and correspondence filed with the court. Case files may include transcripts of testimony, court proceedings, briefs, printed abstracts, filed motions, notices, and judgments. A name index is saved to Archives server, and is available upon request.

Subjects include fire plans and hazards, meetings with the Board of Regents regarding the consolidation of student information, no smoking policies, and a register of Capitol Christmas trees from 1997.
