This series contains departmental polices and procedures, and facility operation memoranda (OMs) from 2005-2006. Information may include: rough drafts, notes, public testimony, research materials, and file copies of policies and OMs for the Department of Corrections.
This series consists of correspondence, reports, studies, and minutes relating to the physical facilities, operations, personnel, and population of the institutions governed by the Board. Institutions include the State Penitentiary, Custer State Hospital, Redfield State Hospital, State Veterans’ Home, State Training School, Yankton State Hospital/Human Services Center, Youth Forestry Camp, and Women’s Correctional Facility.
This series contains records regarding the hearings of juvenile delinquent cases at the Roberts County Courthouse, cases 1-174. The records for juvenile insanity and feeblemindedness cases in Roberts County are also found within this series and consist of court hearing records from 1895-1932.
