Scope and Contents

This series contains a complete set of bridge location maps created in 1987 by the South Dakota Department of Transportation. Maps are arranged alphabetically by county name, and there is one map for each county. An index to the maps lists the structure number and location of each bridge. Also included are two structure index logs printed from a SDDOT computer database in 1998.

This series contains a map of Harding County, South Dakota, published by the Perkins Bros Company of Sioux City, which consists of land being divided into equal sized plots with each plot containing thirty six equal sized land divisions. The map is annotated into different colored districts with a blue highlighted area representing public owned land such as the school.
