Scope and Contents In 1950, federal officials condemned a stretch of land along the Missouri River to build Fort Randall Dam. As part of the condemnation proceedings, they agreed to relocate 428 graves in the cemetery of St. Philip’s Episcopal Church (also known as the White Swan Cemetery).
