This series contains planning files from the Black Hills Conservancy Subdistrict from 1965 through 1984. The majority of records pertain to water management, water plans and water quality but there are also sinkhole, agriculture, dredging, pollution and more administrative records such as contract, proposals and facilities. This record group contains records created and maintained by the Dept. of Water and Natural Resources Records include: correspondence, reports, water subdistrict plans, Missouri River Basin Commission records, photographs, environmental protection records, water quality plans, environmental impact statements, meeting minutes, financial records, Edgemont Uranium Mine records and audio recordings from the Board of Minerals and Environment.

Scope and Contents This series contains administrative files from the West River Conservancy Subdistrict created between 1970 and 1984. Topics and types of documents include budget, surveys, meeting notes, publicity, right of use permits for individuals as well as federal and state agencies, irrigation, the Missouri River and more.
