Included are narrative reports on adoptive homes, foster homes, and natural parent homes, as well as reports on conditions of children. This series contains Lawrence County probate records on microfilm from 1878 to 1932, and inventory and appraisement records from 1910 to 1970. These records were microfilmed for the City of Deadwood as a customer order in 2011. As part of the agreement, the State Archives received diazo copies of the film. The original records and master microfilm belong to the City of Deadwood Archives.
