Scope and Contents This collection consists of nine cassette tapes which record the court proceedings in which the South Lincoln Rural Water System Application for Permit No. 4300-3 was granted and affirmed by the Circuit Court. This case eventually went before the State Supreme Court (Case #12997), and the cassettes became part of the case file. Scope and Contents This series contains civil and criminal case files from the Turner County Clerk of Courts. A searchable name index for these records is available upon request. Records were maintained in their original order, which means the first nine boxes were arranged roughly by the defendant’s last name, and the last six boxes by case number. There is also one folder of correspondence, chattel mortgages, coroner’s inquests, and other miscellaneous filed documents in box 6468.
