This series contains records created and maintained by the Marshall County Auditor from 1885 to 1974, including tax records, school and teacher institute records, railroad records, elections, petitions, motor vehicle registers, and blueprints.
Court Records, 1878 - 1999
This series contains Hutchinson County court records, including probate and guardianship files, case files, indictments, mothers’ pensions, minutes, notary records, and wills. There are also teacher term reports from 1924 to 1938.
Forestburg School and Veteran's Agricultural Institute , 1915 - 1981
This collection consists of records from the Forestburg School District and the Veteran’s Administration Institutional On-Farm Training School which was connected with the school a few years after World War II. Files included correspondence, student records, teacher annual and term reports, student census, school board meetings, treasurer records and athletic files.
Franklin School District #11 Records, 1919 - 1970
This series contains records created and maintained by schools in the Franklin School District (#11) in Tripp County. Records include daily attendance and classification registers, information about the hot lunch program, book inventories, reports, lists of teachers and school board officers, and information about the Young Citizens’ League. The records were discovered in an old school house purchased by Merle and Ruth Calhoon.

This series contains three compiled lists of students who attended the Oahe School and Santee School between 1876 and 1933. All lists include the student’s name and dates attended. The Santee School lists also include the student’s home town.
Pierre Agency Correspondence, 1919 - 1970
This series contains photocopies of Pierre Indian Agency records. The records were taken from the Pierre Agency Decimal Correspondence files, and topics include estate/heirship, Crow Creek Agency allotment, the Indian Reorganization Act, and relief emergencies. The series also contains Pierre Indian School records, including student enrollment, school employees, and photographs.

This series contains two attendance and classification books from the Powell School District in Haakon County. These records list student names, track attendance, and record grades.
Pupil's Monthly Report and Local Draft Board Classification Card for Thomas Dunn (RESTRICTED), 1912 - 1918
Contains a "Pupil's Monthly Report" for Thomas Dunn for 1912 which lists subjects taken, reports the grades he received, and records attendance. Also includes the notice of local draft board classification for Mr. Dunn from 1918. Mr. Dunn grew up in Center Township in Aurora County.

Robb's Flat School Records, 1915 - 1970
This series contains records created and maintained by Ruth Neuhauser, a teacher at Robb’s Flat School, which was part of Carlin School District No. 92 in Haakon County. Records include school census records, teacher’s term reports, teacher’s attendance and classification reports, textbook inventories and loan registers, Young Citizen’s League reports, financial reports, and an election poll and tally sheet.

This series contains school census records for Haakon County school districts from 1931 through 1970. Records list the names of students enrolled in the school district along with their ages, attendance, and grades for the term. Sometimes additional information is included about the school district, such as total numbers of students, class subjects, and schedules.

This series consists of teachers' attendance and classification reports for the Dearborn School District in Beadle County. These reports contain the students' daily attendance, age, grade in school, grades on coursework, a record of classroom visitors, and teachers' narrative comments to their successors. Reports filed prior to 1905 only contain the students' names and daily attendance.

Contains reports and other records submitted by school districts to the Perkins County Superintendent of Schools between 1910 and 1969 and includes teacher’s term reports, clerk and treasurer’s reports, textbook inventories, Young Citizen League reports, school census reports, bonds, election certificates, school officer oaths, and poll and tally sheets.

This series contains the Dearborn School District Clerk's copies of the school census records from 1884, 1888-1896, 1905, 1909-1916, 1922-1924, 1926-1933, 1935, and 1937-1938. Records list the names, addresses, and ages of school children living in Dearborn Township, Beadle County. Names of parents or guardians of the children are also given. Later records include the children's birth dates.
School District - Teachers' Term Reports, 1884 - 1946
This series consists of teachers’ periodic reports to the school clerk (copies were also sent to the county superintendent of schools). The reports list student names, subjects studied, and daily attendance. Territorial era records include reports on the condition of the school property. Later records include student grades.
