This series contains 24 digital photographs taken by Dan Brosz (Curator of Collections for the State Historical Society) in 2008 to document the condition of the “Woman and Deer” statue in Griffin Park in Pierre. The statue was created in 1939 by Fred Hill as a Works Progress Administration (WPA) project.

He was the executive director of the Centennial Office in 1989 and was heavily involved with the Memorial Committee from 1993-1994.
